This is the Google Chrome extension - Ultimate YouTube Downloader for Chrome, which allows us to download YouTube videos directly by clicking on ‘Download’ button below the current video. There are various formats like 3GP, MP4, FLV etc with different video quality like 120P, 240P, 460P etc according to that video quality. This extension adds a download button just below the video. In case, if you’re using the latest version of Chrome, then please install this extension manually. After downloading the above extension – drag n drop it to the extension page which comes from Wrench Icon (at the right top of chrome browser)-> Tools->Extensions. It will ask for Add or Cancel – Click on the Add button. Its Over.

I initially used Real Player to download YouTube videos. But I don’t know why it doesn’t work now. Instead, it always pops up a message telling Buy the latest version. So this post really helped.

I use keepvid.com all the time to download youtube videos. Will give this addon a look.
