The world’s most popular messaging app – Whatsapp is going to launch its new version for its users, titled ‘Whatsapp Plus’. It is not confirmed whether it is free or a paid version.
There is no official confirmation from their officials about what exactly it is. Only a name is rumored and expected that it would be in addition to the existing whatsapp mobile app with new features like cool themes, emoticons and may be free voice calling facility.
Whatsapp plus will also have its main feature – free file sharing and it is expected that it will allow large files sharing through the messaging app. By time, new features were added to the existing app but why they have named it whatsapp plus is more interesting.

Recently, they have added a new feature of ‘double blue tick’ to indicate that the person on the other end has read the chat / message sent. While some people don’t like that the sender has come to know i read his chat. It also allows users to keep this feature active or deactive through the app settings.
Whatsapp India Business Head said-
“The founders wanted to develop a cool product which will be used by millions and did not have business things like valuations.”

Whatsapp plus allows bigger file size to share through whatsapp. But i read somewhere that using whatsapp plus is against whatsapp policy and whatsapp can ban us for using it.
Is this true or just a rumour ?
